This training, research, and writing seminar on « Sociabilities and Religiosities in Urban Senegal » is a collaborative initiative, developed by Dr. Abdourahmane Seck, Coordinator of the Critical Studies Action Group – Africa (GAEC-Africa), and Dr. Nadine Sieveking, in the framework of her fellowship at the Merian Institute for Advanced Studies in Africa (MIASA), Accra. Based on case studies conducted by GAEC-Africa volunteer-researchers, it explores the links between sociability and religiosity in Senegalese urban settings.
